Corey Roth Leaves for So. Korea Corey Roth Leaves for So. Korea
Steve and son Corey Roth, members of the Top of the Lake Museum since it opened in 2007, came to visit the Museum on February 5, 2010. Corey, a proud member of the US Army, and his dad came to the U.P. for a snowmobiling trip with 2 other friends as a getaway before Corey leaves for South Korea on the following Monday. Corey has been riding snowmobiles his whole life and they did have a good time reminiscing at the Museum. Take care, Corey, and we hope you come to visit us again when you return home.

Dan Watson Builds a Hus-ski Dan Watson Builds a Hus-ski
Local crafter from Curtis, MI, Dan Watson was in the logging business his whole life. He now spends most of his time building wood-crafted toys for his grandchildren and local children. The best part about this story is that this 80 year old man gives away most of his creations.

Daniel Cedolia - BRAAAP Films Daniel Cedolia - BRAAAP Films
The week before our Show this past February, 2010, Daniel called the Museum to ask if he could come and do some videotaping of our Ride. Of course, the collectors who always come to Naubinway the whole week before the event, are always willing to talk about their snowmobiles, especially to a newcomer to our event! No one is camera shy, and they are so enjoyable and interesting to listen to. Daniel learned about our Museum and Show, and we found him to be enjoyable and interesting, too.

Dry Riders Motorcycle Club Dry Riders Motorcycle Club
The Dry Riders Motorcycle Club On July 27, 2011 we met the Dry Riders Club. They are an organization of men and women who are family oriented and have formed a club to promote the benefits of motorcycling with out the use of alcohol or drugs while riding. We were so impressed with this group that we would like to recognize and promote them to all of you. They spent some time in the museum and had many snowmobiling tales to share with us. One of their members, Tim Miller was involved in racing and his son is now, even wearing his old factory Ski Doo racing suit. We look forward to hearing from them again soon.
