1969 Hornet: Jet Dynamics, Inc of St. Cloud, MN introduced their 1969 Hornet. It was originally painted black and didn't have a windshield. It looks heavy, but only weighs 380 lbs. It was available with a wheel kit for summer use. Few companies offered this, so they concentrated on promoting use of this machine 12 months a year.
The Hornet has a JLO, 18hp engine with a manual starter. An electric starter was offered as an option. It also has a two-speed transmission and reverse. It also has a 15 in. track and reach 40mph. The front suspension has leaf springs and the track has 2 rear shock absorbers. Only 100 were made and sold from 1969 - 1970. It sold for $1295.00, with the wheel kit.
