1972 Sabre 440T: Recreatives, Inc. of Buffalo, NY manufactured recreational vehicles and in 1972 they developed the Sabre line of snowmobiles, which included 3 models: the 340T, 400T and the 440T. Each model is powered by a twin cylinder JLO engine. This 440T has a 36hp engine.
The chassis is lightweight riveted aluminum and the 18" track is nylon reinforced rubber. Other features include twin hi-lo beam headlights mounted on the handlebars, rolled ski edges, padded dash and cowling, grab straps, front and rear bumpers, and a kill switch.
