1988 Yamaha Sno Scoot: The SnoScoot was offered by Yamaha for 3 years (1988, 1989 & 1990). It was a new introduction by Yamaha to expand their market to the younger "baby boomers" who might never have considered an Enticer or Exciter, but might find the SnoScoot fun and appealingly cute. It was "Just an experiment-that never caught on".
The SnoScoot was powered by a 79cc single cylinder engine. They came with options of a kick start or electric start. They weighed approximately 220 lbs, had 12" track and measured 72" long by 32" wide and 32" high. Speed of the SnoScoot was from 15 to 20 mph - about as fast as most of the sleds of the mid-1960's.
